Kern OBE all-round compound microscope for schools, training and laboratories
The KERN OBE compound microscopes offer durable, ergonomic microscopes with excellent features. Suitable for viewing translucent, thin, high-contrast, less complex samples (e.g. plant tissue, coloured cells/parasites), these models include a 3W dimmable LED illumination and a butterfly lens barrel for adjustable viewing angles. The height-adjustable 1.25 Abbe condenser ensures optimal light concentration. The mechanical stage is easily adjustable with coarse and fine focusing knobs and the coaxial drive allows for quick sample movement. Additional features include USB power compatibility for mobile use, a storage compartment for cables and options for different eyepieces and objectives. The trinocular version can be fitted with a C-mount adapter for cameras/tablet screens.
