At a time of year when many of us feel especially lucky - enjoying the festive season, sharing meals and spending quality time with our loved ones - it’s important to pause and think of those in our community who may be facing much more difficult circumstances.
This Christmas, our company was proud to support The Trussell Trust through a food donation to the local Whitchurch foodbank. The Trussell Trust does vital work across the UK, helping to provide emergency food and practical support to people who find themselves in crisis. In Whitchurch, their volunteers work tirelessly to ensure individuals and families have access to the essentials they need during challenging times.
For many, the winter months can be particularly tough. Rising living costs, unexpected changes in circumstances or simply trying to make ends meet can place huge pressure on households. Foodbanks play a crucial role in offering immediate help, dignity and reassurance to those who need it most - especially during the festive season when feelings of hardship can feel even more pronounced.
